TWEET COMPETITION

This year Atlanta students are gearing up for their chance at a $10,000 scholarship from Greg Street’s We Need 2 Read challenge. Students must tweet @DjGregStreet @MetroPCS_GA that they want the 24 Hour WeNeed2Read read-a-thon to be at their school

** ALL TWEETS MUST INLCUDE HASHTAG (#) FOR CONSIDERATION**
Tweeting Competition begins on Wednesday, April 18th and ends Wednesday, April 25th.

The school that tweets the most will have the contest at their school for their students only.

The Winning School will be announced Friday, April 27th.

** WINNING SCHOOLS MUST HAVE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL APPROVAL TO HOST 24 HOUR READ-A-THON***
The Read-a-thon will take place at the winning school on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday May 6th from Noon to Noon.

The winning school seniors will create a team of 5 (1 senior and 4 underclassman)
–The school must have at least 10 teams for the competition.

Each Student must read for 24 hours and write a 250 word summary on the book they read.

The team that reads the most books and completes the most summaries will win $10,000
(Senior will win $5000, underclassmen will win $1000 each and school receives $1000)

The winning team will be awarded at the school on Sunday, May 6th at 1pm.
